Finding Hope In Failure
Did you know that a seed will not grow if it wasn’t buried on a certain depth in the ground? No matter how much water you put into a seed, it will not grow into a PLANT if it is not PLANTED in the ground.
And, just like that, sometimes, you need to hit THE GROUND ZERO before you can grow. And sometimes this can lead you to depression.
But don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing bad about being depressed, what’s really bad is not doing anything about it. We all have emotions, you know, cant really control them, but we can still work around them and give the family hope, and prayers, and trust in the Universe that things will be alright.
And cope, and move on, find more opportunities, and slowly heal from the pain of the past. I was once stuck with depression back in 2006, kinda like self imposed lockdown if you may. Basically, I let my emotion run my life.
Sorry typo, I meant “ruin” not run. Which, given this context, meant the same thing.
Emotion is in the heart, and the heart is below the brain. I am sharing you this story just to let you know, that whenever you think you’ve lost everything, think about your family. And if you have a daughter or son, think about the respect they have for you; the way they look up to you. That will give you some hope that the Universe has given you, so that you can pull yourself together and start finding solutions to problems, instead of lurking in the corner of the room, eating poptarts.
I love pop tarts.
Sometimes its important to focus on what’s left. I learned not to agonize anymore. I learned to stop grieving too much about what I’ve lost. Istarted to pull myself together and pick myself up because in the process of doing this, I know that better things will actually unfold. This is how I got back up on my feet. I hope this story finds you well, and promise the Universe everyday to let go of the things you can’t control.
That’s the path to true freedom.
